Good vs Bad Placement Examples

Correct placement is key to getting the best results from your BuzzyGo. The direction your device faces determines how effectively it deters flies. Use the examples below to learn where (and where not) to place it.

Outward-opening window

Bad Placement
BuzzyGo is placed on the outside of an outward-opening window. When the window opens, it faces away from where flies enter, so it won’t work effectively.
Good Placement
Place BuzzyGo on the adjacent window so that when it’s open, it faces toward the fly entry path for maximum effect.

Two outward-opening windows

Bad Placement
BuzzyGo is placed outside on outward-opening windows. When opened, the units face the wrong direction and lose effectiveness.
Good Placement
Place BuzzyGo inside on the window frame so it faces toward the fly entry path when the window is open.
Good Placement
Place BuzzyGo outside on one window that stays closed while the other window is open. This way it still faces the fly entry path.
Good Placement
Place BuzzyGo on the window sill to maintain a clear line toward the fly entry path.

Patio sliding door

Bad Placement
BuzzyGo is placed inside on the sliding door. It faces inward and does not receive direct light, so it won’t deter flies.
Good Placement
Place BuzzyGo outside on the UPVC frame. It always faces outward toward the fly entry path and won’t interfere with the sliding door. Use more than one if the opening is wide.

Back door

Bad Placement
BuzzyGo is mounted outside on a door that opens inward. When the door is open, it faces inside instead of toward the fly entry path.
Good Placement
Mount BuzzyGo on the UPVC frame around the door using sticky dots provided so it always faces outward toward the fly entry path.

French doors

Bad Placement
BuzzyGo is placed on the outside faces of both doors. When the doors open, they face away from the entry path and become ineffective.
Good Placement
Place BuzzyGo on the inside faces of the doors so that when they open, the units face outward toward the fly entry path. Multiple BuzzyGo's used due to the large entry point

Always ensure your BuzzyGo faces toward the direction flies enter from, such as open doors, windows, or patio spaces.
